If you are looking for the nuclear option Absolu Aventus style fragrance, this IS it. It’s a hybrid; AA & Hacivat. Juicy fruity opening followed by spicy ginger & cinnamon in the mid resting on mossy amber and woods base. Clean skin and fragrance free moisturizer as prep and this easily hits 10+ hours. IMO Vanguard is the better daily driver AA choice. But, for Fall outdoor activities, ball games, tailgating etc. This rules!

I'd be hard pressed to describe this, but this is a very well-rounded citrus-forward scent. None of the notes which you might be skeptical about (orange: balanced and blended in, and neroli: which some don't pull off very well is very well blended here) are any problem. It's good to begin with, but this one gets nicer at dry down. It's not entirely my taste, so I just let it sit for a while and once it got to the base and that black tea came out, I was impressed at the final combination of notes. The other base notes are just subtle compliments.

This and Gulf Orchid Mango Ice would be what I consider to be the gold standard GoF clones and the best starting ground. The main differences lie in execution. Mango Ice puts more emphasis on the mango, being almost a photorealistic mango. For that reason, it is a little sweet and feminine leaning. Here in Mango Bliss, there is a little more ginger, and a touch of berries to add more to the mango, and although blended in as opposed to being outright: more woods (something Paris Corner excels at), making it more properly unisex and, to me, a more complete fragrance.
