This is a fantastic take on Forever Wanted Elixir. The dense raspberry and fruity opening is why this stands apart from the sea of vanilla, orange blossom options of today. The bright and rich opening is uplifting but not overly sweet. As the fragrance settles in, the cedar, amber and leather start to evolve and provide an excellent backdrop for the fully evolved raspberry accord. This isn’t an everyday cool weather scent. It’s best suited for evenings which is why decants are so perfect for “occasion” fragrances like this.
